Where it all began
Bucas started with a bag I made for a girls’ trip to Marbella. I wanted something a little different, so I created a charm bag and took it away with me.
People kept asking where it was from, and after making a few more, I decided to start selling them. That first design became the Marbella Charm Bag — and Bucas grew from there.
From Marbella to markets
Not long after launching, I started taking Bucas to local markets. It was the first chance I had to see people browse the bags, try them on and choose their favourites in person.
Seeing the response to them gave me the confidence to keep developing Bucas, and the markets have helped shape the brand as it's grown.
Where Bucas is now
Today, every Bucas charm bag is still finished by hand by me in the UK. Alongside the original designs, you can now choose your bag colour, pick your favourite charms and create a combination that's completely your own.
I still run everything myself, from putting the bags together and packing your orders to creating the content you see online.
